- **Who we need**:_
- As our Paint and Décor Design Consultant (Mixologist), you will be our point of contact with potential and existing paint clients ranging from homeowners to professional painters.
- Your design and client relations experience will help you build trust as you provide guidance on colour choices, materials, and product knowledge.
- Your experience with the needs of professional painters and general contractors.
- **What you will do**:_
- Develop strong client relationships by developing trust and providing best-in-class service.
- Identify opportunities within the region to capture paint market share.
- Work with leadership to promote existing product lines as well as source new product to offer our clients.
- As one of our product experts: provide training and support to our entire sales team.
- Supervise the paint and home décor departments.
- Support clients throughout the store as needed.
- **What you bring**:_
- You are comfortable in a social environment and interact well with people.
- You get along collaboratively with the members of your team.
- 5-10 years experience in specialty paint retail required.
- Experience with X-Rite/MatchRite software and hardware an asset.
- Experience with kitchen and bathroom design an asset.
- Enthusiasm to drive sales.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
