We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated **Yard Forklift Operator** to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre pipe yard located in Etobicoke, ON Your responsibility will be to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. You will be working outside at our Yard and will be loading/unloading pipe and fitting. In this role, you are required to work in all climate conditions, must be capable of lifting 30 - 50+ pounds repeatedly, must possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Picking, transfers and sales orders in an accurate and proficient manner
- Loading Flatbed trailers with a combination of Pipe and Skids meeting MTO Standards - Training is provided
- Perform Daily Safety Pre-Inspections of your Propane Counterbalance Forklift
- Work proficiently against Productivity and Quality targets
- Maintain a strict housekeeping standard
- Report safety and security issues to your direct supervisor
- All of the above will be performed in various weather conditions - Appropriate seasonal apparel and PPE will be provided. Eligible for a summer & winter boot voucher after 3months
- Other duties as assigned
- Ad-hoc functions such as occasional administrative assistance in the office;
- Monitoring and processing of the paperwork for all orders that relate to Courier/LTL
- Communicate stock errors and discrepancies clearly and effectively with team members

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of previous Counter Balance Forklift experience
- Knowledgeable on FIFO (First In, First Out) product rotation principals
- Knowledgeable on RF processes
- Additional on-site training will be provided where required
- Minimum 2 -year experience working in a Yard distribution environment
- Must have necessary certifications for specific machinery, Order Picker, Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts
