**Position**:
The Yard Worker is responsible for accurately and quickly servicing a very demanding client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. Operator must be capable of lifting 30+ pounds repeatedly, and be prepared to meet any challenge. Must have a positive demeanour and work well with others.

**Job Duties**:

- Picking, transfers and sales orders in an accurate and proficient manner in the Yard
- Work proficiently against Productivity and Quality targets
- Report safety and security issues to your direct supervisor
- Accurately select and set up orders to ship - Usually same day
- Perform daily pre-inspections of Order Pickers & Reach Trucks
- Drive Order Picker / Reach between racks and replenish order from warehouse racking
- Correctly build the products onto pallets, and prepare the pallets for replenishing
- Maintain a strict housekeeping standard
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Completion of high school or college diploma or equivalent work experience in distribution and/or logistics
- Experience operating various forklift/order picker equipment
- Possession of a valid forklift certification
- Experience handling large materials preferred
- Being knowledgeable on RF picking and loading processes is an asset
- Additional on-site training will be provided where required

**Working Conditions**
40 hour work week - 8 hour day shifts are Monday-Friday
- Have the ability to work overtime
- Be willing to work flex hours in the summer if needed

Incumbent spends 100% of their time in our outdoor yard environment. Lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects (25-50lbs). Personal safety is affected by dust and traffic caused by other forklift operators. Moderate amount of sensory attention is required. Limited control of work pace and unexpected workflow brings considerable stresses to this position.

The incumbent, understands, respects and adheres to the Workplace H&S rules and safe work practices.
