As a member of the Finance team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for resolving internal and external account queries, monitoring client accounts and proactively contacting customers to minimize overdue accounts, while providing excellent customer service.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitoring and maintaining up to date records for client accounts and reviewing accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate action.
- Initiate communication with customers on overdue payments
- Managing customer inquiries, providing detailed customer reconciliation and statements as required
- Resolving payment disputes in an efficient and professional manner
- Processing credit card payments when required
- Collaborating with sales department where necessary
- Preparing reports as related to collection work
- Identify high risk accounts and notify management
- Various other duties as requested by the Controller

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or GED certificate
- General understanding of accounts receivable tasks and processes
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Speaking and understanding other languages an asset (Punjabi, Hindi)
- Computer proficiency

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$66,560.00 per year
