**About the Role - How you will Contribute to the Service**:
The Professional Standards team is looking to hire an Audit Clerk to join their department on a permanent part-time basis. This role will enable you to work alongside the Audit Coordinator to plan, execute and report on comprehensive and compliance audits. The team is looking for someone with exceptional communication, initiative, problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills to play a crucial role in the Service’s everyday operations. **What you will be Responsible for**:
- **Complete background research and prepare audit work plans, including timelines and meeting schedules**:
- **Conduct research and create survey in relation to risk assessment and/or comprehensive risk based audits**:
- **Participate in comprehensive property and evidence audits, analyze information and maintain documentation**:
- **Act as the primary auditor and contact for the Forensic Services Unit active exhibits**:
- **Prepare draft property audit reports and compliance audit summaries, including: listing of findings, evaluation and recommendations for review and submission**:
- Disseminate audit reports to senior management for approval and follow up on completion of recommendations
- Coordinate and retain audit related records including Compliance Audit Forms, plans, reports and working papers
- Audit and accompany the transportation and witnesses the destruction of drugs, firearms and related exhibits
- Maintain the compliance audit portfolio and SharePoint site
- Communicate with all levels of staff relative to the audit process
- Provide administrative support including policy revisions, forms, reports and filing
- Other related duties as assigned
**What you will Bring to the Role**:
**Education, Certifications and Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year post-secondary education is preferred. A combination of related education and/or experience would be acceptable**

**Hourly Rate: $28.93-$31.79**
