The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day general office administration operations. In addition, this position will provide frontline reception and will be the key liaise with service providers, clients, and customers.

As an Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day general office administration operations. In addition, this position will provide front line reception and will be the key liaise with service providers, clients, and customers.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Act as first point of contact for the organization with regard to telephone and in-person inquiries from residents, family members, community partners and other parties
- Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals or departments across the organization
- Provide the home with IT support
- Bi-weekly preparation and processing of payroll
- Maintains Resident Census and billing records
- Monitor inbound/outbound mail and courier
- Establishes working and filing systems to ensure office documentation meets legal and legislative standards
- Assists in maintaining resident trust accounts, administrator’s account and petty cash
- Reconcile cash floats (ex. bar, tuck)
- Responsible for Bank Deposits
- Assist in preparing resident agreements
- Assist in marketing related activities
- Participates actively in morning huddles and management meetings as required
- Must actively participate in ongoing educational opportunities
- Maintains office supply inventory
- LTC Only - Assist Director of Care in obtaining employee file documentation requirements
- Other duties as assigned
