**This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a **Solution Specialist for Point of Care **you will be responsible for**:
- Identifying and developing leads for POC solutions within Acute and Non-Acute care settings.
- Interacting & selling to all levels of customers in the specified target account (CEO’s, Purchasing, Laboratory Management, Biochemists, Laboratory Technologists, Medical Directors, Respiratory Therapists, Perfusionists, POC Coordinators, etc.)
- Preparing complex financial product acquisition proposals that provide customers with a variety of flexible purchase options.
- Preparing RFP responses including financial proposals and technical/clinical responses.
- Preparing Product and POC solution Overview presentations technical product demos.
- Supporting the evaluation, training and implementation of Siemens Healthineers Point of Care Products - developing adoption strategies for accounts (stakeholder engagement, change management)
- Identifying and developing key opinion leaders/customers and reference sites
- Ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of customer database and contract information through maintenance of CRM system
- Creating & updating account plans for key opportunities as well as regional sales and funnel forecasts.
- Acquiring and sustaining high level of product knowledge, technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, healthcare market knowledge and develop high degree of personal efficiency.
- Collaborating with the entire Siemens Healthineers team including Technical Applications, Field Service, Business Management, Project Management, Healthcare Solutions, Finance and Legal,
- Managing clinical and technical questions from customer.
**Required skills to have for the success of this role**
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree with a Health Sciences specialization or Medical Laboratory Technology or other related discipline degree.
- Successful technical sales experience in Diagnostics or related Medical Device/Healthcare field. Marketing experience a plus. Demonstrates consistent achievement of sales objectives.
- Ability to grow market share in a highly competitive market.
- Self-motivated, as well as customer and results oriented.
- Excellent negotiation and risk management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of hospitals and testing procedures.
- Experience working within a hospital/POC setting with a clinical/technical background is desirable.
- High level of presentation skills including the ability to present technical topics
- Bilingualism (French) is considered a strong asset
