New Business Sales Rep

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative is responsible to achieve sales targets by identifying and assisting to convert new customer leads.
New Business Sales Representatives are the first line of contact with all new customers, with the objective of identifying and acquiring as new customers at the pace identified by their manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execute creative prospecting strategies to secure new customers - the primary focus of this role is securing new business revenue opportunities
- Consults with potential customers to provide innovative products and solutions that satisfy business requirements
- Develops clear and effective presentations and proposals
- Supplies management with oral and written reports as required
- Establishes and develops business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Researches sources and uses effective prospecting methods to uncover new sales opportunities
- Identifies and presents product advantages and company value add to help achieve sales targets
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy through effective time management
- Collaborates with all local sales reps to help capture new customer business
**Job Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Post-Secondary Education is preferred
- Experienced in working and managing multiple locations in various provinces is an asset
- Experience implementing HR programs to the company at all levels
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable automobile
