As the leading luxury menswear retailer in Canada, Harry Rosen has an exciting and challenging leadership opportunity for a Trade Marketing Specialist. This role within the Brand Marketing Department working cross-functionally across buying, e-commerce, marketing, and external brands to support all internal campaigns and marketing calendar as well as Harry Magazine.

The Trade Marketing Specialist will provide day-to-day support to the Manager, Product & Trade Marketing within the Brand Marketing Team, as well as collaborate with other members of the Marketing, Buying and E-commerce Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Project Management_
- Track weekly, monthly, and seasonal priorities to ensure that programs are successfully executed.
- Manage work-backs cross-functionally to ensure timely execution of trade marketing programs
- Provide leadership to direct report Trade Marketing Intern
- Brand Relationships_
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with brands to scale the co-op marketing program.
- Work directly with external partners for program approvals - ensuring all parties sign off on final assets.
- Make recommendations on brand program enhancements, packages, and adjustments within budget parameters and manage timelines for efficient COOP collection.
- Stay in close contact with brands to ensure all vendor assets are received in a timely manner
- Product Marketing_
- Support the communications of go-to-market strategy for new brands and products including drops, exclusive collections, and categories
- Provide support with all product and brand representation for our seasonal publication, Harry Magazine
- Pulling samples and products for shoots/campaigns
- Support the execution of the seasonal marketing calendar and campaigns in line with investment priorities
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience - specifically in trade marketing, buying or product marketing
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Communication, Business, or another relevant field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Expert in fashion, product and brand knowledge
- Ability to work cross-functionally teams, including buying, ecommerce, and studio.
- Strong initiative and can-do attitude
- Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent detail-orientated and highly organized
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Fashion retail experience is a strong asset
