**SUMMARY OF DUTIES**

Participates in the production and management of visual materials. Supports the Technical Resources design team, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity in all deliverables. Informs internal and external collaborators about the technical, logístical and financial constraints on the processing and use of digital images, effects, titles and credits to foster a better understanding of the overall process. Helps establish service procedures and standards that promote excellence in technical and creative techniques as well as the integrity and high quality of the work process.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assists in the production of graphic designs for various media, including print, digital and social media platforms.
- Responds to multiple product requests from internal collaborators (e.g., Production, Marketing, social media and Technical Resources teams) that require specific formats to be used on a wide variety of distribution platforms.
- Produces, digitizes and transforms images and drawings.
- Prepares files for various platforms, including social media, print and web, and ensures that specifications and colour standards are met.
- Ensures the quality and consistency of all deliverables by respecting established standards, budget constraints and deadlines.
- Operates and maintains graphic production equipment, including printers, scanners and computers.
- On occasion, collaborates with designers and marketing teams to create visually appealing layouts and graphics.
- Troubleshoots technical issues related to graphic production and helps find effective solutions.
- Stays up to date on industry trends and technology to enhance production processes and output.
- Ensures product elements are available for NFB distribution and manages digital archiving and filing of production files.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- College diploma in commercial arts, graphic arts or equivalent;
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver);
- Strong understanding of colour theory, typography and layout design principles;
- Experience in print production and prepress processes is an asset;
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Ability to develop procedures and appropriate working tools and to collaborate on the implementation of a project;
- Working knowledge of production methods for films, videos and interactive multimedia products;
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer is an asset;
- Bilingualism in the official languages (French and English), both orally and in writing.
