We are currently recruiting for a full time **Quality Control Technician **at our** Ancaster, Ontario** facility.

The Quality Control (QC) Technician is a member of the Quality Assurance team and reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. The QC Technician ensures that products and services meet required quality and safety standards and comply with facility quality programs.

**Main Duties**:

- Ensure safe work conditions and practices as per company Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Adhere to company policies and standards for safety, cost control, waste reduction, quality, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Sample collection, documentation, and preparation for shipping to 3rd party testing lab.
- Conduct record review, filling, and data entry of various information for the purpose of maintaining accurate records.
- Collect and compile data; perform analysis and illustrate trends.
- Work closely with grow and production staff in the areas of sanitation, hygiene, GMP’s and related necessary training to ensure adherence to quality program.
- Conduct swabbing, environmental sampling, packaging inspections, weight checks, sanitation validation and processing verifications as required.
- Maintain testing equipment, including calibrations, cleanliness and associate documentation.
- Assist in all areas of the quality program as required including record keeping, internal auditing, SOP writing, non-conformance investigations, training etc.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.

**What you bring**:

- A diploma in an applicable field of study.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or food industry.
- Experience with GMP/GPP/GLP and working in a regulated industry considered an asset
- Sophisticated organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Team player attitude and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.

**Working Conditions**:

- Onsite pffice and production facility environment

**Physical Requirements**:

- May be required to sit/stand for extended periods of time
