AlphaPoly, a leading Canadian provider of custom, sustainable flexible packaging solutions,

is seeking a dynamic Marketing Business Development Coordinator to join our

team. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth, nurturing leads, and supporting

individual with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships and

leveraging technology to achieve business goals.

Position Overview

The Marketing Business Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting AlphaPoly’s

growth by managing lead generation and nurturing through Salesforce CRM,

agency, and facilitating sample distribution. This position involves close collaboration

with sales representatives to qualify leads, maintain warm relationships, and ensure

prospects are ready for quoting. The coordinator will blend marketing strategy, business

development, and operational support to enhance AlphaPoly’s market presence in

industries such as food, pet products, and nutraceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
- CRM Management and Lead Nurturing:

- Utilize Salesforce CRM to track, manage, and update leads, prospects, and client

interactions.
- Qualify leads by shadowing sales reps and engaging in follow-up communications

to ensure prospects meet AlphaPoly’s criteria for quoting.
- Maintain accurate records of lead statuses, interactions, and pipeline progression

- Marketing and Social Media Coordination:

- Collaborate with AlphaPoly’s external marketing agency to align on branding,

- Assist in developing and scheduling social media content to promote AlphaPoly’s

products and thought leadership in flexible packaging.
- Support trade show preparations and marketing collateral creation (e.g., brochures,

product sheets).
- Sample Distribution and Operational Support:

- Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product samples (e.g., stand-up

pouches, flat bags) to prospective clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of samples, working with the production and

customer service teams.
- Assist in organizing promotional materials for client meetings and industry events.
- Sales Support and Lead Qualification:

- Shadow sales representatives during client meetings and calls to understand client

needs and qualify leads.
- Maintain regular communication with leads to keep them engaged and informed

about AlphaPoly’s offerings.
- Prepare sales reps with relevant lead insights and data from Salesforce to facilitate

smooth quoting processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role (entry level)

tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments (sales, marketing, production) and with external partners.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about flexible packaging industry trends and sustainability practices.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite) for supporting marketing

collateral creation.
- Familiarity with flexible packaging products (e.g., stand-up pouches, laminates) or manufacturing environments.
- Analytical mindset to interpret campaign metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
