Shipper/receiver

Join our dynamic and growing team at Fairway Ford as a Shipper/Receiver You will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of automotive parts and products. You will be responsible for the timely and safe shipping and receiving of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Unload and unpack shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and record any discrepancies.
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment to move, store, and organize inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
