The role includes organizing and cleaning warehouses, loading and unloading semis on a daily basis. The person would be responsible for verifying shipment accuracy of inventory incoming and outgoing, also fill out necessary documents to meet SQF standards and regulations.
Applicant must have a valid forklift operator's certificate

**Responsibilities**:
**Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities**:

- fill orders and prepare for shipping
- load and unload product
- process received product according to company policies
- place incoming product into inventory
- check incoming product for damage and initiate damage report when applicable
- participate in inventory counts
- keep receiving and shipping areas neat and clean
- assist customers as required
- perform other duties as assigned
- must have excellent communication skills
- have a positive attitude and are an enthusiastic individual
- be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- must be organized and have excellent time management skills
- must have computer skills, knowledge of Excel and Word

**Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills**:

- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Receiving, stocking, and stacking
- Pulling, packing, and loading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Forklift experience is required

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
- Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
- familiar with HACCP and GMP practices
- experience with Excel and Word
- Past forklift certificate is required.
- A driver's licence is required.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Inventory control: 3 years (preferred)
