**Job Overview** This role is being advertised as a contract position. At the end of the contract, it is possible that the contract may be extended or flipped to a permanent position. The business is located on a bus route. **Responsibilities** - Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and documenting orders. - Operate material handling equipment, including fork lift (average 20 min/day), to load and unload products. - Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse. - Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals. - Assist in inventory management through regular stock checks and updates in the MRP system. **Requirements**: - Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role or similar position required. - Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, including fork lifts (must have current fork lift certification). - Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. - Great attention to detail.
