**Job Summary**:
As an Embroidery Machine Operator on our Production Team with **Trillium Sales Group**, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products according to customer specifications. You will work with various materials and designs, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout the production process. This is a full-time position covering a maternity leave, with possibility of permanent employment status in the future.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Operate embroidery machines to embroider designs onto various materials such as fabric, garments, and accessories.

2. Set up embroidery machines, including selecting appropriate threads, needles, and hoops, and loading designs into the machine.

3. Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.

4. Inspect finished products for defects, such as thread breaks, tension issues, or misalignment, and make necessary corrections.

5. Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles and other parts as required.

6. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.

7. Collaborate with design or production teams to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of embroidery designs.

8. Maintain records of production output, machine maintenance, and any quality issues encountered during production.

9. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

10. Assist in other production tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an embroidery machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing or têxtile industry.
- Proficiency in operating embroidery machines and familiarity with different types of embroidery techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating production metrics.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, specifically evenings.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations related to machine operation and têxtile manufacturing is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
