Laser Machine Operator

Duties:

- Operate laser cutting machines (Bystronic, Trumpf ) to cut and fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances
- Set up and adjust laser cutting machines for optimal performance
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Basic welding skills are a plus
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Experience in assembling metal parts is a plus

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with the laser cutting machine
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members

Please note that this job may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
