**Position Summary**:
We’re seeking a driven and creative **Junior Business Development Assistant** to join our team this summer. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in business, healthcare consulting, sales, marketing, or communications. You’ll help support the company’s growth strategy by assisting with outreach efforts, client engagement, market research, and proposal support.

**Position Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs Program)**:
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria as set by Service Canada:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Note: International students are not eligible under this program.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business Development Support**
- Assist with identifying and researching prospective clients, partners, and new business opportunities
- Help maintain CRM tools and track leads, contacts, and outreach efforts
- Support the preparation of proposals, capability statements, and pitch decks

**Marketing & Outreach**
- Help coordinate outreach campaigns and event participation (e.g., trade shows, conferences)
- Assist in preparing materials such as brochures, digital collateral, and promotional content
- Contribute to tracking analytics and performance of outreach and lead generation initiatives

**Project Coordination & Research**
- Conduct competitive research and gather insights on new market segments
- Assist in summarizing funding opportunities, grant programs, or RFPs
- Support internal tracking systems and reporting related to business development progress

**Team Engagement & Learning**
- Collaborate with consultants, marketing, and leadership teams
- Participate in internal strategy meetings and planning sessions
- Gain mentorship and insight into how a growing healthcare consulting firm expands its client base

**Eligibility and Requirements**:
To qualify for this position under the **Canada Summer Jobs** program, you must:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in business, communications, marketing, public health, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, or HubSpot
- Energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented
- French language skills are considered an asset

**Contract Details**:

- **Term**: 8 weeks (May 12, 2025 - July 4, 2025)
- **Hours**: 35 hours per week
- **Hourly Rate**: TBD (based on funding and experience)
- **Extension**: May be extended based on performance and company needs
