Toyota Tsusho Canada Inc., located in Woodstock, ON, is currently looking for a "New Business Development Specialist" to join our team. TTCI is part of the Toyota Tsusho Group of companies located world-wide, and we are part of a multi-market, multi-business enterprise with expertise in exporting and importing, new manufacturing, intermediate goods processing and logistics in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. With a team of nearly 5,000 people and 71 locations across North America, we strive for comprehensive excellence by cultivating a vibrant culture of creativity, reliability, accountability, flexibility and teamwork to activate the full potential of all employees, customers, suppliers and communities. - Developing new business strategies on services to promote and potential customers to approach - Prospect and connect with potential customers through cold calling or other means to promote Toyota Tsusho services - Attend conferences and networking opportunities to develop key relationships with other companies - Create custom presentation materials depending on the prospective client - Prepare quotations tailored to customer needs and successfully close new business proposals - Liaise with other departments such as Legal, Compliance, and Operations as required - Support Management with Month End and Budget creation including mid-term planning - Other duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications**: - Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Customer Service experience in a business environment; Automotive and or Mobility experience preferred - University degree or College diploma preferred - Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships - Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience in JDE and/or SAP an asset - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Must be able to travel domestically and internationally when required - Must possess a valid driver’s license Please note that TTCI is an equal opportunity employer.
