**Position: Temporary Full time
- 1 year**

We have an opening for a **Human Resources Assistant**. We hire self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, integrity and a commitment to improvement.

**Who You Are**:

- You can demonstrate experience in Human Resources/Administration ideally in a corporate environment. It's an asset if you have experience working in Long Term Care/Health Care and are able to manage documentation and standardization for multiple facilities.
- You embrace and champion change. You'll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.

**Duties**:

- Job duty systemizing, policy review & updating as required
- Onboarding pertaining to HR Benefits and tracking
- Assist in the recruitment process
- Tracks performance appraisals
- Maintenance of employee HR files pertaining to benefits and policy/procedures
- Data Entry as required/Provides reports as requested
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Management Team

**Qualifications**:

- Effective people skills and time management skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Organizational skills and flexibility are essential
- Able to meet tight timelines
- Strong computer skills
- Previous experience with Long Term Care / Health Care Administration with a strong background in HR will be considered an asset
- Ability to speak and understand Tagalog considered an asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truro, NS B2N 7B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
