**Compensation & Benefits Specialist**
**Saskatoon, SK**

Are you driven by details and energized by analyzing and optimizing commission structures? Does diving deep into data and ensuring accurate compensation get you up in the morning? We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of Vendasta’s global commissions processes while also growing their knowledge in payroll and benefits.

**About the Job**
We’re looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing Vendasta’s global commissions processes, ensuring our teams are rewarded accurately and fairly. Reporting to the Payroll & Benefits Manager, this role is approximately 60-70% focused on commissions, and also includes opportunities to learn and support payroll and benefits administration. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, and People Operations to ensure timely and precise commissions processing and become a trusted expert in incentive compensation.

As a **Compensation & Benefits Specialist**, you'll work with the Payroll & Benefits Manager, Sales, Finance, and People Operations teams to:

- Own and administer the full commissions cycle, including analysis, calculations, audits, and reporting.
- Maintain and update compensation plans in alignment with organizational objectives and sales structures.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales leadership to validate performance metrics and ensure timely, accurate payouts.
- Address inquiries related to commission discrepancies and provide detailed, data-backed resolutions.
- Support payroll processing activities and assist in administering benefits programs as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in compensation and payroll operations.

**What You Bring to the Table**
You have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commissions—preferably in an analyst, specialist, or similar role—within a fast-paced, dynamic organization. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets and compensation models. Experience with commissions software, Excel (or Google Sheets), and financial reporting tools is required. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a SaaS environment or have supported payroll or benefits processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally are essential, as is a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
