**_ SCOPE/ OVERVIEW OF POSITION:_**

Ensure the efficient operation of all press delivery systems, stackers, and conveyor’s record and maintain accurate skid counts during production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES_**
- :Lift printed product from end of press and stack it for bundling
- Ensure that all products leaving the press area meet company quality standards and are complete with correct information
- Actively take charge of and assist in the housekeeping of the whole press area
- Accurately check pagination on make readies
- Continuously identify product defects in the stacker
- Monitor press for web breaks or folder jams when press is on crawl or web-up speed
- Verify the press has the required supplies available and properly prepare all equipment and materials for the next run
- Maintain safety standards, ISO and housekeeping at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Ensure that his/her workstation is kept safe, neat and clean at all times.
- Use or wear any equipment, protective devices or clothing required by the company;
- Report any defect in any equipment or protective device e.g. PPE, machine guarding which may be hazardous to either themselves or another worker.
- Refrain from removing or disabling any protective device.
- Only operate equipment on which they have been trained and authorized.
- Report any injury, illness or hazardous condition/act immediately to their supervisor or manager.
- Participate in all required health and safety training
- Works within and adheres to all St. Joseph Health and Safety Operating Standards, including Operating Standard HS-010 Associate/Supplied Labour/Temporary Associate Responsibilities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

**_ QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:_**
- Grade 12, high school diploma preferred
- Good oral, reading, and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Able to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions
