**About Us**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Performing General Laborer duties.
- Follow all procedures for machine specific work instruction.
- Assist primary Machine Operators with various activities (ie loading blanks, grinding, sanding, packing skids etc.).
- Clean and disinfect applicable areas.
- Sweep and mop floor.
- Operate a Tenant Rider Scrubber (daily).
- Clean machinery and equipment as required.
- Use various hand tools such as grinders and belt sanders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow York Metal Products’ Health & Safety Policy, including but not limited to wearing PPE at all times.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Valid G License.
- Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Physical Requirements and Work Environment**:

- Fast Paced manufacturing shop floor environment involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
- Process is repetitive in nature and involves postures including forward reaching, tight gripping, and some squatting.
- Can lift up to 50 pounds.

**Schedule**:

- B Shift: 4:00PM - 12:30PM (+ $1.00 Shift Premium)

**Experience**:

- General Laborer: 1 year (preferred)

**Benefits (after 6 months of employment)**

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
