Veterinary Receptionist

Sooke Veterinary Hospital is a bustling 4 doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in the picturesque coastal town of Sooke, BC. We are an incredible group of passionate individuals with a patient-first philosophy who take the utmost pride in serving our community.

**Duties**:

- Client education and communication
- Management of medical records
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Scheduling appointments
- Triaging patients on the phone and in person
- Greeting clients (and their pets) with a smile and enthusiasm
- Administrative duties (insurance forms, inventory control)

**Requirements**:

- Reception experience a must
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting considered an asset
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in using veterinary software and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients.

**Wage**:
Compensation starts at $20/ hour and increases based on prior experience. Opportunities for annual increases.

**Schedule**:
Part-time 3-4 days a week, Tuesday
- Friday 8-5, Saturday 8-3 with a one-hour lunch break. Full-time hours possible.
