Sooke Veterinary Hospital is a bustling 4 doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in the picturesque coastal town of Sooke, BC. We are an incredible group of passionate individuals with a patient-first philosophy who take the utmost pride in serving our community.

**Duties**:

- Client education and communication
- Management of medical records
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Scheduling appointments
- Triaging patients on the phone and in person
- Greeting clients (and their pets) with a smile and enthusiasm
- Administrative duties (insurance forms, inventory control)

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, animal care setting, or medical office is an absolute must
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in using veterinary software or electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients.

**Wage**:
Compensation starts at $25/ hour and increases based on experience. Annual reviews and wage increases are standard for us.

**Schedule**:
Full-time 5 days a week. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Once training is complete, goal is to move to Tuesday - Saturday (8am to 5pm weekdays, 8-4pm Saturday) All shifts include a 1 hour lunch break where we are closed to the public to ensure you get your time.
