Veterinary Receptionist

**Our friendly, AAHA accredited, privately-owned, small animal practice is looking to add an experienced part-time veterinary receptionist to our team. We strive to provide the highest quality of care for our patients through excellent medicine, communication, and teamwork. Join us and help make a difference with pets and their owners locally**

**Duties include**:

- **Creating a welcoming and warm environment for patients and clients**
- **Answering and triaging phone calls**
- **General administrative duties including: sending insurance claims, processing files, processing purchases, end of day balancing, and inventory**
- **Maintaining the general cleanliness of the practice**
- **Liaising effectively with doctors, technicians and veterinary assistants**
- **Client education**

**Wages are dependent on experience and skill level.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sooke, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (required)
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
