RWDI is currently seeking a **Model Shop Supervisor** to work in the **Guelph **office. This is a **full-time permanent **role.

The role includes but is not limited to the following:

- Collaborating with the other Model Shop Supervisors to ensure the appropriate project priorities are being worked on.
- Making sure their team is following the current scheduling process.
- Escalating unresolved project conflicts with Project Managers, Engineers etc. to the Model Shop Team Leader, Production manager and scheduler.
- Ensuring change to process/direction of the Team is followed by all members of their team through involvement with the other MS Supervisor’s and MS Team Leader.
- Managing employee related issues including full-time hires with guidance from Leader above.
- Be a mentor/coach to new Model Shop staff.
- Provides input related to equipment needs or technical advancement in the Model Shop.
- Ensuring the project requirements and documentation are being fulfilled by their team members.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Model Shop environment.
- College diploma in architectural or engineering technology and/or woodworking diploma
- A high aptitude for physical and electronic 3D Model Building.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities
- Proven ability to successfully meet deadlines, manage small teams with multiple projects running simultaneously.
- Proven high level communication skills
- Strong people and team skills as well as highly motivated
