Axe Throwing Coach/guest Experience Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a smile, and ensure they feel welcome and at home in our venue
- Provide professional instruction and safety briefing on how to throw an axe safely and accurately
- Monitor and supervise all axe-throwing activities, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed at all times
- Create and deliver fun and engaging group events, such as team-building workshops, birthday parties, or bachelor/bachelorette parties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, answering any questions and offering recommendations on other activities and food or beverage options available in the venue
- Introduce new players to the game, assist more experienced players in improving their technique, and generally ensure that everyone has a great time
- Confidently speak to large groups of customers and provide coaching in an entertaining and informative manner
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, including stocking bar before and after each shift
- Smart Serve certified to serve alcoholic beverages **(required)**:

- CPR/first aid certification is preferred

**Requirements**:

- Available for a minimum 6 months
- Outgoing and personable personality, with a big heart and the ability to connect with people
- Smart serve certified - REQUIRED
- CPR/first aid certified - PREFERRED
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience and create a fun and exciting atmosphere
- Confidence in public speaking and presentation skills
- Prior coaching, entertainments, or hospitality experience is not necessarily required, but is a plus
- **Evening and weekend/Holiday availability - REQUIRED**

Cash tips are yours to keep. Tip pool from credit/debit is added on to bi-weekly pay. Discounts at numerous Blue Mountain Village retailers and restaurants. Discount on Blue Mountain Resort 5x7 ski pass.

**Please note, as we are located in the Blue Mountain Village, weekend and holiday availability is mandatory for this position.**
