Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions and the corresponding financial reporting. Responsibility includes overseeing and managing the work of others in a consistent and organized manner. You will also lead the company’s ERP selection and implementation project.

**What you will be doing**

Managing the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits & collections, inventory & fixed asset integrity and general accounting

Direct responsibilities:

- Account Reconciliations
- Balancing and reconciliations of sales and accounts receivables
- Project Progress Payments
- Banking and bank reconciliations
- Close month
- Month-end reporting, including sales and financial
- Preparation and posting of all month-end accruals, allocations and adjustments
- Payroll and all associated employee compensation, benefits, CNESST, commissions
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
- ERP selection and implmentation project management

Indirect responsibilities:

- Posting of deposits
- Collections, ensuring positive cash flow on a timely basis
- Weekly A/R Call notes
- Checking profitability
- Oversee cash disbursements
- Oversee inventory maintenance
- Provide Outstanding customer service by responding to all ongoing queries, both internal and external, in a timely and error-free fashion
- Adherence to deadlines for deliverables for reporting

**About you**
- BA or Accounting Diploma plus 3-5 years related experience in a similar industrial and/or sales environment
- Senior-level computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong experience and skill in full-cycle accounting
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment with the ability to manage and lead
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to support decisions with facts and rationale, making sound recommendations
- Effective interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation and the ability to initiate action with receivable calls, clients, and co-workers
- Natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge and continual learning
- Superior time management skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual (French/English)
