**OneSpan **is looking for a Accounting Manager based in** Montreal, Canada.**

**Position Overview**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure timely execution and review of month-end and quarter-end close activities including, but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliation, analysis, and reporting
- Perform detailed review of general ledger accounts and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Working with development teams to ensure expenses related SaaS operations are properly accrued for.
- Monthly and quarterly sales tax reporting
- Fixed Assets Management; capitalization, monthly depreciation, disposal/ transfer of assets
- Lead and assist in preparing audit schedules, providing data to auditors, and coordinating with auditors to resolve their queries
- Maintain and improve upon the current accounting infrastructure
- Maintain documentation of current processes and procedures for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) environment
- Assist with the development and implementation of new systems and internal controls that meet the Company's business growth and culture
- Coordination of accounting matters with other departments
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

**Requirements**:

- Accounting designation required
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment, be a team player and have an excellent ability to prioritize individual and team objectives while developing the accounting infrastructure
- Comfortable handling technical accounting issues
- US GAAP experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with systems, knowledge of Workday, Anaplan, Blackline preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines, all while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Strong organization skills and the ability to maintain detailed records
- Ability to work collaboratively across different departments
- Exhibits pride of ownership and sets and adheres to uncompromising quality standards for deliverables

- Maintenir et améliorer l'infrastructure comptable actuelle
- Maintenir la documentation des processus et procédures actuels pour l'environnement Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
- Contribuer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux systèmes et contrôles internes qui répondent à la croissance et à la culture de l'entreprise
- Coordonner les questions comptables avec les autres départements

**Exigences**
- Titre comptable requis
- 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en management
- Vous appréciez un environnement au rythme rapide, avez un esprit d'équipe et disposez d'une excellente capacité à hiérarchiser les objectifs individuels et collectifs tout en développant l'infrastructure comptable
- Vous êtes à l'aise avec les questions comptables techniques
- Expérience US GAAP préférée
- Expérience pratique des systèmes, connaissance de Workday, Anaplan, Blackline préférée
