Painting Subcontractor

**Overview**:
Looking for experienced painting subcontractors with liability insurance to take on piece work.

Most painting companies and contractors are difficult to work with, don’t pay on time and don’t pay well for skilled labourers.

We are growing fast and have more work than we can handle, and we’re looking for experienced painting contractors to partner with.

**Minimum Requirements: Professional and Responsible Contractors Who Have**:
Strong communication skills

A Registered Business

General Liability Insurance

All Tools & Equipment

Registered and in good standing with WorkSafe BC

**Skills, Qualifications, and Responsibilities**
- Preparation of interior and exterior surfaces for painting or staining: scraping, sanding, priming, caulking, filling, etc.
- Drywall repairs: Mudding, taping, minor patching, filling dents, scratches, etc.
- Cutting and rolling
- Masking interior and exterior surfaces to avoid unwanted overspray, drips, or runs.
- Spray painting
- Hand washing exteriors with soft-bristled brushes
- Pressure washing
- Working on ladders
- Using scaffolding, boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
- Setting up fall protection and fall arrest systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- painting: 3 years (required)
