Painting Subcontractor

Looking for experienced painting subcontractors with liability insurance to take on piece work.
- We are growing fast and have more work than we can handle, and we’re looking for experienced painting contractors to partner with.
- We are seeking skilled painters who consistently deliver excellent work and maintain clean job sites.
- Most painting companies and contractors are difficult to work with, don’t pay on time and don’t pay well for skilled labourers.

**Service Area**
- Nanaimo, Parksville, Ladysmith and surrounding areas.

**Minimum Requirements: Professional and Responsible Contractors Who Have**:
Strong communication skills

A Registered Business

General Liability Insurance

All Tools & Equipment

Registered and in good standing with WorkSafe BC

**Skills, Qualifications, and Responsibilities**
- Preparation of interior and exterior surfaces for painting or staining: scraping, sanding, priming, caulking, filling, etc.
- Drywall repairs: Mudding, taping, minor patching, filling dents, scratches, etc.
- Cutting and rolling
- Masking interior and exterior surfaces to avoid unwanted overspray, drips, or runs.
- Spray painting
- Hand washing exteriors with soft-bristled brushes
- Pressure washing
- Working on ladders
- Using scaffolding, boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
- Setting up fall protection and fall arrest systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $37.00-$50.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- painting: 3 years (required)
