Job Description
Note: Only applicants with a cover letter will be considered.
Looking for something challenging in a leadership role with a great deal of freedom and opportunity to grow? Do you enjoy operations and thrive in a customer-oriented role? Keep reading.
Seriously Painting Ltd. has been growing rapidly, and we're expanding our team.
We're a locally owned and operated family painting business that has been serving Nanaimo and the surrounding areas since the early 2000s.
This role is based in Central Vancouver Island, and our shop is in Nanaimo. There is very little time is "office time". This is a mobile, on-the-go and sometimes remote kind of job. Our service area covers Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and the surrounding areas.
Project managers are responsible for managing the entire production process once the sales team has finalized the scope and collected a deposit.
This role is a salaried, plus bonus position. The actual hours can vary significantly by season, from 10-15 hours per week in the "slow season", to 30-40 hours per week in the summer. Efficient project management can be done in under 30 hours, even in the busy season.
Project managers largely set their own schedule, including managing appointments with crews and clients and completing any office/administrative work as they see fit.
Weekly team meetings and 1-on-1 GSR (goal-setting and review) meetings are scheduled with Mathew Camp (owner) to review training, KPIs (key performance indicators), and short- and long-term goals.
