**General Accountability**

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the safe and efficient shipping, receiving and storage of materials utilizing mechanical and manual material handling methods in the Pestell Pet Products warehouses.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Safe, timely, accurate and efficient loading and unloading of trailers/trucks utilizing forklift and material handling equipment.
- Accurate and timely picking of orders, processing receipts, shipments, consolidation and put away tasks and systems transactions.
- Movement of materials within the onsite warehouses including buildings A and E.
- Ensure optimal, organized and safe storing of products within the warehouses.
- Shunting of materials in the yard (AZ Licence not required).
- Repalletizing/repairing damaged product(s).
- Accurate and timely completion and processing of required documentation including shipping bills, pick lists and OS&D Forms.
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts.
- Practise safe work habits and good housekeeping at all times.
- Ensure all delivery/pickup operators follow company health & safety procedures.
- May be required to assist other departments and do other duties from time to time.

**Working Conditions**
- Warehouse environment with extreme temperatures possible.
- Fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Repetitive work.
- Must be able to work overtime as required including some weekends.

**Qualifications**
- Previous Forklift and Material Handling Experience is required.
- Previous shipping / receiving experience is preferred.
- Intermediate level of MS Office (Word, Excel) skills.
- Organized with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Materials handling: 1 year (required)

- Forklift: 1 year (required)
