**General Accountability**

The Material Handler - WIP/Rework is responsible for reprocessing damaged finished goods. This role involves offloading pallets of finished goods from production lines onto trailers or delivering them to the warehouse using a forklift.

Additional responsibilities are loading raw materials onto production lines using forklifts, assisting production by working directly on the production lines as needed and supporting the shipper/receivers with various tasks as required.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Reclaiming raw materials from damaged units for reprocessing.
- Repalletizing of partial skids (bags/boxes) by hand.
- Completing the required reporting on a daily basis.
- Transportation of finished goods from the production lines by use of forklifts to the warehouses as per the production schedules and/or as directed by the Supervisor.
- Offloading of trailers of finished goods and/or raw materials at onsite warehouses.
- May be required to assist with stickering or labelling of bags/boxes.
- Ensure proper housekeeping practices.
- Practise safe work habits ensuring company policies and procedures and OHSA responsibilities are followed.
- Other duties as required, including production line work.

**Working Conditions**

- Repetitive work.
- Exposure to noise, temperature changes, dust and odours.
- Standing and walking the full shift.
- Frequent bending; twisting, pinching and grasping.
- Fast-paced - Daily volume requirements.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous forklift and material handling experience.
- Must be able to manually lift, up to 55 lbs.
- Basic Excel data entry skills.
- Previous production-related experience is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $22.40-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
