ZS Holdings Ltd. is a family owned and operated company with several hotels in Edson, Hinton and Red Deer. We are currently looking to expand our team in the position of Guest Service Agent at Holiday Inn Express. This position is a full time permanent role.
The primary responsibility of our Guest Service Agent is to deliver excellent customer service while making the check-in and check-out procedures as seamless as possible. As a Guest Service Agent you will be required to maintain our room inventory, reservations, and assignments and answering guest inquiries. You will also be required to answers phones and transfer calls to appropriate guest rooms or departments throughout the hotel. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, handling financial transactions on guest accounts, and answering any guest inquires about the hotel and local area. Customer service is our main priority and as such we are looking for customer focused people to join our team.
**Front Desk Agent Position Requirements**:
- Excellent customer service and experience
- Pleasant, courteous, empathetic, fast acting, professional, discreet, friendly
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous customer service experience
- Previous hotel experience considered an asset but not required
- Strong computer knowledge (experience with Opera PMS program an asset but not required)
- Able to work in a team environment and independently
- Hospitality or tourism diploma/degree an asset but not required
- Excellent English oral and written. A second language (preferably French) is an asset
- Be able to a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holiday
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
