Facility Maintenance Worker

**Job Overview**:Softball City is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Maintenance/Facility Team Member to play a crucial role in the maintenance and upkeep of our playing fields and facilities. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sports, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working outdoors. Your primary responsibilities will include field maintenance, small mechanical repairs, and supporting the overall upkeep of the facility. Wage range $22-$28 hourly.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Field Maintenance**: Perform regular field maintenance to ensure a well-groomed and safe playing surface for all events.
**- Equipment Operation**:Operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment, trimmers, leaf blowers, and more. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
**- Facility Upkeep**:Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks in common areas, including dugouts, bullpens, and spectator areas. Some small mechanical repairs if needed Assist with general building repairs and upkeep as needed.
**Qualifications**: Previous experience in grounds keeping or landscaping is preferred. Knowledge of field management practices and experience with equipment operation and maintenance is an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Availability to work flexible hours, with a focus on daytime hours during the weekdays.

Contract length: 9 months
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
