Donovan Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Electrical Estimator to join their team of highly-trained and efficient professionals. Donovan Associates does work for various industrial, commercial, and residential clientele throughout the Saint John area.

As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work full-time, long term, commercial, industrial, and residential projects with well-established and highly reputable clientele. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of a team that has a combined 75 years of experience in the electrical field.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Analyze blueprints, specifications, RFP’s, trade proposals and other documentation.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for various construction projects.
- Prepare multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Conduct job site assessments.
- Form great trade relationships during the bid process.
- Invest the hours required to create winning bids.

**Requirements**:

- 5+years of experience in the electrical field
- Excellent evaluation, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with adobe
- Class 5 license

**Additional Information**:

- Hours may vary from job to job (Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, Overtime)
- Work from home position but will require to show up at the office from time to time when needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

- Saint John, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction estimating: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
