We are currently seeking a new instructor to teach:

- **Friday-Sunday ONLY**:

- **Friday Occasional**:

- **Saturday from 9:30 - 3:00PM**:

- **Weekends as needed for birthday parties for 4-8 hours (please see website)**:

- **You must be able to operate Procreate and teach lessons on how to use the Procreate app (digital art)**:

- You will need to submit your portfolio and write a lesson plan for this interview.
- This opportunity is great for students currently enrolled in any university program and is looking for part time work and to join a relaxed, fun and welcoming team of artists.

**Responsibilities**:

- Childcare and safety at all times while they are in employee's care.
- Develop and implement engaging art lessons that foster creativity and artistic skills in students.
- Instruct students on various art techniques, including drawing, painting, and digital art.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves through art.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their artistic abilities.
- Organize and supervise art projects, exhibitions, and other creative activities both in the classroom and during special events.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in digital art using the Procreate App is imperative to perform your duties
- Proficiency in various art mediums and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage classroom activities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey artistic concepts clearly to students of all ages.
- Experience working with children or teenagers in an educational setting.
- Leadership qualities to inspire creativity and guide students in their artistic journey.
- Time management abilities to balance lesson planning, grading, and extracurricular activities effectively.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel for tracking student progress and organizing lesson materials.
- Ability to write engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for effective communication with diverse student populations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
