**Responsibilities**:
**As an instructor**:

- Implement art lessons and activities for students of various ages and skill levels. We license the curriculum from 4Cats, so you would not be developing a class curriculum. Instead, there is an expectation of delivering the programs to a high standard.
- Teach students using different art techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Most of it can be learned on the job, but previous art experience is **very** welcome
- Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills.
- Create a positive classroom environment that fosters a love for art.
- Manage art supplies and maintain an organized and clean art classroom.
- You must love working with children and adults, be patient and kind, and have great classroom management skills.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced lively environment keeping your cool in every situation :)
- Initially, this position involves teaching adults only. But we want a versatile teacher who can instruct kids too.

**As a studio worker**:

- You must be incredibly reliable and fulfill the minimum required hours weekly.

**Tasks**:

**Job Type: Part-Time hours: 14 - 16 hours per week, 2 days a week (every weekend). Schedule 1pm - 8:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.**

Wage: $18/hr during training, $19/hr after training is complete.

Some availability to work 1pm - 8:30pm during weekdays would be an asset.

Schedule:
**Job Type**: Part-time with a possibility of full-time depending on performance.

**Experience**:

- working with kids: 1 year minimum
- art/art instructor experience

Ability to Commute:

- Toronto, ON M4K 1N6 (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
