Acheson Truck and Trailer a division of Landtran Systems inc is currently seeking a Service Writer for our fast-paced Heavy Duty Commercial Shop in Acheson, AB. We are committed to maintain and repair our units to keep transportation and logistics moving smoothly and safely.
- Collect and interpret information for repairs, open work orders while promoting our Services for repeat business
- Providing accurate estimates to Customers with the focus on addressing the concerns
- Work together with the Service Personnel for accurate quotes on costs of repairs
- Ensuring Customers receive excellent time management with follow ups on a regular basis to be fully informed on their Services, Cost and to ensure units are ready when promised or delayed
- Contact Customers when additional Services are required and ensuring the all work is authorized
- Providing work orders to our Shop Foreman for all scheduling of units for repair
- Reviewing all work orders for accuracy, all charges are fair, equitable and all shop supplies accounted for
- Diligent with closing all work orders in a timely matter daily, monthly and yearly for an up-to-date reporting dialogue

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service Experience
- 2 - 5 years of prior Service Department Technical or Mechanical Experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with TMT Trimble Software and Truck Mate is considered as asset
- Knowledge and experience in transportation industry is an asset
- Self - Starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workloads in a fast-paced Environment
- Attention to detail with a strong drive to meet tight deadlines
- Class 5 license and a personal vehicle to get to our shop
