**Job Description**:
We are seeking a self-motivated and driven individual to fill the role of Asset/Equipment Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Operations.
As a member of the Facilities/Warehouse team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the company’s equipment and assets, ensuring that all equipment, tools, emergency and specialized personal protective equipment are in optimal working condition and accounted for within our inventory and asset management system.
This role involves inspections, setting up service and preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, receiving and compiling orders as necessary. Effective inventory management is crucial, as is the ability to forecast equipment needs and manage procurement processes

**Responsibilities**:
Asset and Inventory Management
- Conduct monthly and annual inventory cycle counts. Coordinate and collect inventory counts from worksites
- Process and monitor transfers and returns of equipment, tools and supplies
- Investigate and expedite inventory discrepancies
- Maintain, order and replenish stock levels of supplies, materials and consumables
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in inventory and asset management
Shipping & Receiving/Vendor Management
- Act as a resource for internal teams, providing updates on equipment, tool and supply availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance.
- Maintain working relationships with vendors and suppliers; ensure best pricing, timely servicing and compliance with contracts and agreements.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments and returns for accuracy, quality, reporting any discrepancies.
- Unload materials and supplies safely and promptly from delivery trucks and properly place them in the warehouse and yard area.
- Prepare, pack and label outgoing shipments and worksite material requests
- Coordinate the delivery of equipment, tools, materials and supplies to worksites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocol at all times.
Preventative Maintenance and Service
- Upload maintenance service work orders and reset maintenance inspection schedules within the asset management system
- Maintain accurate records, analyze maintenance trends and report results to Director of Operations
- Schedule and manage for equipment, tools, safety & emergency equipment and specialized PPE:
- Maintenance and mechanical inspections as per set frequency
- Schedule and manage service intervals as per schedule
- Analyze maintenance work order and arrange repairs through external vendors or internal resources.
Job Skills & Abilities
- Experience with inventory and asset management systems, data management, GPS software
- Experience with equipment, vehicle and tool management
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork abilities; confident and able to influence stakeholders including vendors and suppliers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Other educational equivalencies may be considered.
- 2+ years in experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management and shipping/receiving operations
- Equipment operation experience considered an asset, specifically telehandler, skid steer and or/forklift
- Practical knowledge of construction equipment, tools, supplies and safety equipment and supplies
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's history
Job Type and Schedule
- Full time, permanent
- Must be capable of performing tasks that require extended periods of sitting, standing, crouching, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50 lbs.
Ability to Commute
- Must be able to commute to our head office which is located in the Pro North Industrial Park (26004 Township Rd 544 #51, Sturgeon County, AB). Public transportation is not available to this area.
