**Position: Surfacing Technician**

**Position Overview**
- **Type**: Seasonal (March-October), Full-Time Hours
- **Start Date**: Last week of March / First week of April
- **Peak Season**: April-June and September-October
- **Downtime**: Lighter workload typically during July and August

**Compensation Options**

**Option 1: Hourly**
- $25-$30/hour
- Company vehicle and gas card provided
- All supplies and tools provided

**Option 2: Commission**
- $350-$600/day (based on project volume and speed)
- You use your own vehicle and cover your own gas (tax-deductible along with related vehicle and subcontractor expenses: insurance, maintenance, phone, etc.)
- All coating supplies provided by the company

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive to 1-3 project sites per day across Southern Ontario
- Mix chemical products onsite with attention to ratios, timing, and weather conditions
- Communicate clearly with the Service Manager about job readiness, delays, and progress
- Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism at all times

**Required Skills & Attributes**
- **Reliable transportation** (for commission-based roles)
- Willingness to travel (jobs range from St. Catharines to Toronto, and occasionally as far as London or north of the GTA)
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Ability to work long hours and weekends during peak periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Physically fit and able to work on hands and knees if required

**Preferred Experience**

(Not mandatory, but an asset)
- Autobody detailer
- Concrete finisher
- Painting or drywall repair
- Auto or marine body work
- Comfort working with chemical materials (training provided)
