The Regulatory Administrator will be supporting team members and working with international clients to assist in pricing of services and information collection as part of the onboarding process, maintenance of submissions and assist the regulatory team in various other regulatory and technical areas. The position is a full-time remote-based position.

**_Responsiblities:_**
- Collect information from clients prior to project commencement
- Prepare reports on safety and efficacy of ingredients and formula
- Conduct literature reviews using search engines, online databases such as PubMed, NMCD and compendiums
- Where required, engage with client on project information and data gathering
- Communicate with Health Canada on submission status
- Represent the company at tradeshows or conferences and be able to approach prospective clients.
- Update project tracker and project management software where applicable
- Other tasks as requested by team members and/or management

**_Experience/Skills/Education qualifications:_**
- Canadian accredited Undergraduate university degree in Science or Canadian accredited Diploma/ Post Graduate certificate in Regulatory Affairs
- 0-1 year experience in a natural health products, food, consumer packaged goods or pharmaceutical environment
- Experience in a consulting firm environment an asset
- Health Canada contacts an asset
- Ability to perform literature and information searches with such online databases as PubMed, Cochrane, Google Scholar, NMCD
- Can quickly review journal articles and determine relevancy for product license projects
- Fluent in spoken and written English a requirement. French is a bonus.
- Fully understands and has had some experience with the Natural Health Products, Food and Cosmetic regulations
- Computer skills in internet search engines, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Excellent verbal and written and grammatical skills
- An outgoing personality (ability to approach new prospects at conventions or tradeshows)
- Strong critical thinking and finding ways to improve processes
- Capable of conflict resolution with clients
- Well versed in medical and regulatory terminology
- Excellent problem recognition and resolutions skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to learn new regulations and execute on deliverables
- Experience in international regulatory affairs an asset (USA, UK, EU, South America in particular)
