Allied Threaded Products Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a Manufacturing/Saw Operator/Warehouse Employee.

The role is responsible for operating a saw to cut threaded rod, studs, and bolts to customer specification in an accurate and timely matter.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the machinery (programmable auto feed industrial band saw) as well as monitor and verify it is operating correctly at all times
- Perform quality checks as required
- Responsible for set-up and operation of cutting/threading machinery
- Perform all required documentation and organization for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified
- Responsible for the visual inspection of equipment with complex parts, preventative maintenance, as well as area upkeep and cleanliness
- Operate forklift
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock locations, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in shipping area
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Work independently and as a team member
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Perform other duties as defined by supervisor

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Able to work independently and part of a team
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-3 years previous work experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Must be able to regularly lift 60 lbs at a minimum
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
- Forklift licence is considered an asset

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift. Overtime available as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:
