**Position Summary**:
Under the direction and support of the TCE Fabrication Department Manager, the **Fabrication Shop Supervisor** leads and oversees a team of production staff in a Fabrication shop setting. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, meeting production targets, and maintaining a safe work environment. The Shop Supervisor provides guidance, trains, and motivates the team, and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of production staff ensuring alignment with production goals.
- Assign shop staff with appropriate day-to-day tasks and duties.
- Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet targets.
- Monitor product quality and enforce quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized working environment and conduct safety inspections.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee equipment maintenance.
- Identify and address production issues and challenges.
- Provide training and coaching to enhance team skills.
- Maintain accurate production records and control costs.
- Foster open communication within the team and with other departments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Contribute to in-process and final inspection of manufactured goods
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of Fabrication shop experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and team management abilities.
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes and quality control.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
- Proficiency in problem solving; offering clear, objective and concise solutions to team players
- Commitment to safety and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Familiarity with hand-tools, construction equipment and basic maintenance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Welding: 5 years (preferred)
- Fitting: 5 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 2 years (preferred)
