The West Vancouver Parks, Culture and Community Services Department has an opening for a permanent, part-time Assistant Program Coordinator - Health and Fitness. Reporting to the Program Coordinator - Health and Fitness, this position will be:

- Assisting with supervising, recruitment, training, and mentoring kinesiologists, personal trainers, and group fitness instructors;
- Assisting with developing, organizing, and coordinating personal training, group fitness, active rehabilitation programs and special events;
- Providing customer service to personal training and program patrons;
- Providing administrative assistance to program delivery, marketing efforts and special projects;
- Instructing active rehabilitation classes as required;
- Assuming responsibility for facility and program operations as required; and,
- Responsible for other related duties as needed.

- Union (WVMEA) - Permanent, Part-Time (0.8)
- Hours of Work:

- 30 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary and will include weekend and/or early morning or evening hours)
- Starting Rate of Pay:

- $34.07 per hour
- This position has a pay structure with five steps which increases based on hours worked.
