**Since its launch in 2014, ILAC International College (“ILACIC”) has continued to grow. The student population comes to ILACIC from over 70 countries to develop their skills and gain the real-world experience needed to succeed in the workplace. The Assistant Program Coordinator is accountable for providing direct operational and administrative support to Program Coordinators who work both with faculty and other key stakeholders within the college. They are responsible for all aspects of course administration in the LMS as well as the organization and maintenance of documents, records, and resources necessary for compliance, professional development, standardization, and the efficient operation of the academic department as a whole.**:
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support ILACIC’s Strategic Initiatives and act in accordance with our Mission Statement
- Provide Program Coordinators and college instructors with ongoing administrative support;
- Build, optimize, troubleshoot, monitor, and generate reports to support course administration in the LMS system (Moodle); including monitoring attendance, grades, online discussions, and assignment due dates
- Establish and maintain open communication between instructors and administrative teams within the college; including sending out instructor communications and submitting help-desk tickets
- Accurately collect, file, and maintain current instructor documents, and manuals, templates, and forms
- Receive sick calls and arrange class coverage, as necessary;
- Ensure there are adequate, qualified instructors scheduled each term, based on the projections of number of classes needed
- Schedule meetings, class observations, field trips, events, and interviews, and work with internal teams to organize / co-facilitate co-curricular events;
- Organize, maintain, and provide supplementary materials and resources to instructors, as needed;
- Collect and summarize survey feedback received from instructors and students; generate reports to submit to Program Coordinator
- Other responsibilities as required

**Requirements**:

- A post-secondary degree in business, education, marketing, or related field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience;
- Certificate or Degree in Adult Education is an asset
- The ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working with complex schedules;
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills;
- The ability to identify problems, implement independent immediate solutions and create alternative solutions when needed;
- A high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability; demonstrates sound judgment and respect for the individual in all interactions with others
- Strong English language skills; other languages is an asset;
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently;
- Strong computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, video conferencing;
**Working Conditions**:

- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals;
- Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
