**Job: Chief Financial Officer**

**The CFO is a Senior Leader who works in collaboration with the CEO and management team to enhance business performance and provide oversight to all financial activities across the Resort.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operations
- Manage in-house payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with, and oversee, regulatory reporting, including tax returns and remittances
- Prepare and present internal and external financial statements and financial reviews
- Coordinate activities of the auditors
- Contribute to organization-wide strategic planning
- Develop and monitor business metrics to provide management with information vital to decision-making
- Manage the annual budget process
- Evaluate and enhance the business systems, processes, and controls
- Improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business
- Manage commercial banking relationship
- Hire, train and retain skilled accounting staff

- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- **Qualifications/Competencies**:

- CPA designation with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and ASPE
- High-level communication, analytical and management skills
- Strong numerical and advanced excel skills
- Microsoft Navision accounting software experience is an asset
- Previous Casino and/or Hospitality experience is a significant advantage
- **Conditions of Employment**:
You must be able to obtain, and maintain, a senior employee gaming license with the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch in British Columbia. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required from time to time.
