This position is open to experienced Low Voltage/AV Technicians. Atleast 1 year of experience in the industry required. Priority will be given to those who hold more credentials. In this position, you would be working as a Security Technician servicing data/tel/cable lines, CCTV systems, alarm systems, audio/video systems and access control.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

- Installing AV solutions—including pulling cables, installing projector mounts, ceiling mounts, video conferencing equipment, flat-screen displays\video walls, wiring\termination of low-voltage cabling (including soldering), cable cubbies, video conferencing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints/diagrams and product manuals assigned to the project
- Testing of commission-built systems ensuring they meet the company standards
- Test, configure and diagnose built racks prior to field deployment.
- Attend onsite customer installations
- Able to lift “Heavy” items up to 50lbs or more with assistance
- Travel will be required
- Required: Tools, Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots, vest, basic CATV tools.
- Required: Under-Supervision Security License
- Required: Valid class 5 Operator’s license
- 1 or more years’ experience in a similar industry, such as cable TV, satellite or home entertainment installations with CAT 5, 6, 7, VGA, RGB, BNC, RS232 experience
- Networking knowledge, sound balancing, MS exposure
- First Aid, Fall Arrest and other safety certifications are an asset
- Help desk/troubleshooting experience is beneficial
- Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
